23rd June | 🧬 International Women in Engineering Day Today we celebrate #InternationalWomeninEngineeringDay, a moment to recognise the talent, passion, and invaluable contribution of #women engineers across the world and within our organisation. We celebrate the dedication, expertise and impact of our colleagues, whose work inspires innovation and drives meaningful change every day. 🌍 At Dedalus, we are committed to foster unbiased processes and encourage a diverse representation across #STEM roles (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) by continuously tracking our female representation and working towards our targets to improve it. Unconscious bias and #stereotypes continue to shape perceptions and opportunities, and sometimes still influence and prevent girls and women in choosing a career in STEM. 💡 As a company deeply rooted in STEM disciplines, we believe we have a responsibility to help change this reality and we recognise the importance of continuing to act through programmes and partnerships, and to learn and reflect internally. As part of this commitment, we have recently launched an Unconscious #Bias learning course available to all employees, encouraging greater awareness and more inclusive behaviours across our organisation. Creating a more #inclusive and innovative future starts with access, encouragement and opportunities.
