I need YOU! And my students need you! I am teaching an Industrial and Operations Engineering (IOE) course in January 2026 called Senior Design and am once again seeking projects for the students. This course is one of the very last courses IOE students take before they graduate. This course is almost exclusively project-based with a host company. The projects can be remote or hybrid (partially remote, partially on site). Companies will have a team of four IOE seniors who will each work on the project 10 hours per week. Class starts Jan 9 and ends April 20, 2026. It culminates with a ‘senior design expo’ where all projects are displayed on large posters and the students explain the projects to attendees at the event. The projects will be judged and three project teams will win prizes. IOE students are qualified to work on projects that require optimizing a process. Projects can tackle cost reduction, quality improvement, lead time reduction, design of a warehouse, layout of a space, ergonomics issues, morale improvement and many other topics.  For more information on IOE please see our website: https://lnkd.in/gGygbQ52 Companies are asked to make a donation of up to $5,000 at the end of the project to cover costs such as mileage to sites, printing the posters, etc. At this point all I need to know is if you are a YES for a project.
