Indigenous knowledge systems have informed research, innovation and understanding for tens of thousands of years. Across our University, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander researchers, communities and partners are shaping research that is grounded in Indigenous knowledges, strengthens relationships and makes a meaningful difference for our communities. Over the coming weeks, we'll share more stories that celebrate the people, partnerships and aspirations shaping Indigenous research across our University. The Indigenous Research Strategy 2026–2030 builds on this work, providing a framework to strengthen Indigenous research leadership, deepen partnerships and support research excellence for the years ahead.
