DMU students shone at the heart of Leicester’s Riverside Festival at the weekend as our student-run Cultural eXchanges festival celebrated its 25th year. Every June, the local community flocks to our campus and the River Soar for a packed programme of live performances, art, street food, craft stalls and river fun. And, for the second year, our longstanding Cultural eXchanges festival joined the action, staged outside our Campus Centre building. Cultural eXchanges is organised and run by our Arts and Festivals Management students, who choose the festival as a module option in their final year. We caught up with Mya and Kieghan, who were involved, to ask them how the festival came together and how the skills they’ve learnt will benefit them in their career. More: https://ow.ly/V3GR50Z9QZS
