"Is an office still valuable in a hybrid world?" That question kept us busy at DDBM over the past few months. Our data engineers and analysts work on location at clients, from home, and roughly two days a week from the office. Fridays are always full, weekdays are quieter. Still, we chose to keep investing in a physical space. Not because of occupancy rates, but because of culture: the conversations at the coffee machine, POD meetings, hackathons and Friday afternoon drinks bring our team together. An office isn't about square meters, it's about connection. This week we officially moved to the city center of Amsterdam, right next to Dam Square. A place that fits how we want to work and grow together.
