⚡ Microgrid Live Lab – Turning Energy Transition into Reality We are proud to see the Microgrid Live Lab in Woerden, a joint project between Elektro Internationaal B.V. - control panels & distribution boards and Schneider Electric featured in Het Financieele Dagblad. As grid congestion and rising energy demand continues to challenge businesses across the Netherlands, organizations are looking beyond traditional grid expansion and exploring what can be achieved behind the meter through local energy generation, storage, and intelligent energy management. The Microgrid Live Lab demonstrates exactly that. By combining operational AC and DC microgrid, battery storage, solar generation, EV charging infrastructure, and advanced energy management software, the project serves as a real-world testing ground for the technologies shaping tomorrow's energy landscape.
