Get the popcorn ready - Apex, starring our own beautiful Blue Mountains, is launching on Netflix today!🎥 🍿   Starring Charlize Theron and Taron Egerton, the wilderness thriller was filmed in NSW with the support of Screen NSW's Made in NSW Fund. The production is estimated to have created more than 460 local jobs and contributed an estimated $56.5 million in expenditure.   And in even more good news for the NSW screen industry, the following big announcements have been made over the last week:   🎬 The Big Fix, starring Mark Wahlberg and Riz Ahmed, has started filming in NSW this month. Having also secured Made in NSW funding, the movie is directed by Apex director Baltasar Kormákur who is returning to New South Wales after publicly praising its landscapes, facilities and crews. The production is set to create 500 local jobs and inject an estimated $55 million to the state's economy   🎬 Kockroach, starring Australia's own Chris Hemsworth, is also now filming in NSW with support from Made in NSW funding.
