New South Wales is primed for its next blockbuster moment! 📽️🎬⭐ Expressions of Interest (EOI) are now open to deliver Sydney’s second global film studio, marking a major step forward in strengthening our state’s screen industry and expanding world‑class production capacity. This project is part of the three‑year NSW Screen & Digital Games Strategy, ensuring NSW remains the filming destination of choice in the Southern Hemisphere. The EOI will be open to proposals on both private and government owned land in Greater Sydney. To support the process, three government owned sites have been identified in Prospect, Bungarribee and Eastern Creek, for respondents to consider when preparing a proposal. With NSW already hosting major global productions such as Street Fighter, Apex, and Greyhound 2, this investment will strengthen capacity, attract international blockbusters, support local production, create local jobs, and ensure NSW remains the nation’s screen powerhouse.
