During a recent visit to India, our COO International Business, Stefan Geisperger, travelled from Delhi to Mumbai and Bengaluru with a clear focus: to further deepen our relationships with clients, partners and colleagues and to align on upcoming strategic priorities. Across all stops, the agenda focused on project status, upcoming milestones and the concrete next steps in our cooperation. A particular highlight was the visit to BEML LTD., where our delegation was welcomed for a tour of the facilities and discussed the next steps in our strategic cooperation on high-speed and metro rolling stock. In Gurugram, we met with GURUGRAM METRO RAIL LIMITED (GMRL), our General Consultancy client for the new metro corridor between the local development centres Millennium City and Cyber City. We had a highly valuable meeting with National High Speed Rail Corporation Ltd (NHSRCL) and are proud to contribute to India's first high speed rail corridor. The programme also included a stop at our Urban Mobility Competence Hub, where we support the European Investment Bank (EIB) as technical consultant across its rail infrastructure portfolio in the Indian market. We would like to thank all our partners and colleagues in India for their hospitality and the many insights throughout this visit. Another special thanks go to the German Embassy New Delhi and the German Consulate General in Mumbai, whose continued support provides an excellent framework for our activities and strengthens our partnerships in the country.
