Getting to know—and becoming friends with—Carmen these last few years at the d.school has been pretty great. ☺️ I've been truly excited to share her story, and now it's finally here. I especially love that she showcases how design can be used to reimagine the way we take care of each other. One of my favorite moments was getting to see Carmen in action as she ran Soul Spa at SXSW EDU, especially because I then had the chance to interview attendees and hear their stories about how much the experience impacted them.
