Well, just to keep you all up to date on things! I have been studying Generative AI for about 3 years now. I have not made it too public until now based on all the hate that AI tends to bring up! I recently started an ongoing study Called D Glenn Project 1335-2026. in order to see how useful AI is as a Content Creative tool. In the process, I decided to stick to the cheap and free and not just use it to generate slop, but to use it as productively in a development pipeline. Anyone can create slop! My focus was to see AI as a way to make the workflow faster and easier. In media business, time is money and your going to waste a ton of that working the project then reworking it because the client changed their mind. I'm not saying that AI is the answer - I'm not qualified to do that! However, since using Co Pilot for software development in Unreal Engine, I have seen some virtues of AI and a good part of the pitfalls. It was in that vine that I started Project 1335-2026! The Original Image came from my Sketchbook I have that I drew some 15 years ago! So no, I just didn't rip it off from the net! For your education, the tools that I used was: 1) Nano Banana to make the best images for 3D Model conversion. 2) Tripo was the AI tool that makes the conversion from 2D to 3D. 3) Blender 5 for tweaking the results from Tripo. There is a ton of adjustments that I had to make. All this doesn't just happen, you have to make it right in blender! Non AI tools (other than Blender): Mixamo is the program from Adobe to quickly Rigg this model. It is not AI that I'm aware of, but it makes life easier, if you know how to use it! There is one more hourble AI mention and that is Suno for making the music that you hear in this video. Conclusion: I did find AI to be helpful, but in the end of the day, I did about as much work in Blender as I have always done. Fixing UV Meches, sculpting the models is still a chore that I had to do! Retopology is still a necessary task - AI has not fixed yet. Things are Poly Heavy! Blender is no vacation eather. They have done so much to improve things in Blender, but there is so much to go! I say that Learning Blender hardens you for the tools that your have to pay for and to give you the experience that can help you in your career. Don't same it! That is all for now! Enjoy the Video!
