I just returned from my May Vakantie and received a message from Caner Çimen regarding e-invoicing in Qatar. It is amazing to see how proactive they are! There is no VAT in place in Qatar at the moment, yet, they have already implemented the e-invoice mandate under the full clearance model! The fight against the VAT gap starts from day one. In fact, it seems to be quite straight forward according to the press: if you have a VAT ID, you are under the e-invoice mandate for B2B and B2G. If you only have B2C transactions, you must e-report your sales. Grace for SMEs? N/A! Threshold? N/A. PS: thank you for the nice welcome back Caner 😅 #neveradullday
