We are all busy but if you are a health or business editor or writer please read this..... I don't know Richard Kersley but a very good friend of his (and mine) has alerted me to his post here about his (Richard's) extremely scary diagnosis and AXA's decision not to fund life-preserving medication/treatments. This is not a medical area where I know a great deal, but what I do know is that the respect Richard clearly has in the City and the affection he is held in by friends - and the decision that has taken by AXA make this not only a personal tragedy but also a very important news story. If there happen to be in any business editors seeing this post, or Health editors... do you take a few minutes to read what Richard has posted. I'm told he and/or his oncologist will speak to the media - also note other insurers are moving here and litigation is imminent. It is actually a fast moving and terribly important issue. I wish Richard and his family all the very best and hope and trust he will get the support and treatment he obviously deserves.
