Some of the best scientific stories don't have a single protagonist. They have dozens. Like a row of dominoes, one molecular interaction triggers the next. Proteins, enzymes and RNA each play their part until an entire cellular process changes. That's what makes this project so fascinating. These are a few fragments from an animation developed for uniQure, where every step in this complex mechanism of action had to be carefully visualized to make the biology understandable. Because without animation, following this sequence of events would be incredibly difficult. Sometimes the greatest value of scientific visualization isn't making science look beautiful. It's making it possible to understand. #GeneTherapy #MicroRNA #MechanismOfAction #ScientificVisualization #MedicalAnimation #3DForScience
