Renault's "CEO Elect", Mr. Luca de Meo , is the man behind the revival (and huge success) of the Fiat 500. In 2021 the iconic Renault 4 will celebrate its 60th anniversary. The "4L" - as we French call it - was the most popular Renault ever : more than 8 millions were built in over 20 different countries. Equally loved by teachers, workers, urban dwellers and farmers, it was the first "SUV" long before the SUV acronym was coined. The Renault 4 embodies everything people love about Renault : a modern, reliable, conveninent and versatile car that understates and overdelivers. To this day, it is the favourite ride of hundreds of students taking part in the "4L Trophy" and its endearing looks came to symbolise a much regretted "slower" and inclusive lifestyle. With Renault being at the forefront of electric technology, isn't it time for Renault to launch a new 100% electric Renault 4 using 100% recycled materials and developped according to the principles of the circular economy? What is your opinion ? And more importantly, would you want one?
