We’re pleased to announce the appointment of Erica Berchtold as Chief Executive Officer of David Jones. Erica brings more than 20 years of experience across the Australian retail landscape, with a strong track record of leading and growing some of the country’s most recognised brands. From her leadership roles as CEO of THE ICONIC and Mosaic Brands to her time leading Rebel Sport, Erica has consistently delivered customer-focused, commercially strong outcomes and built high-performing teams. Since joining David Jones as Chief Commercial Officer in 2025, Erica has played an important role in strengthening our merchandise and supply chain capabilities and progressing our transformation journey. As we welcome Erica into the role, we also extend our sincere thanks to Scott Fyfe for his leadership over the past 5 and a half years. Scott has guided the business through a period of significant change and challenge, including COVID-19, a change in ownership and the early phases of our transformation. We thank Scott for his contribution and commitment to David Jones and wish him every success in the future.
