🔵⚪️🌑 I am thrilled to have contributed to the design, promotion, and selection process for the inaugural cohort of the Lafayette Program (Villa Albertine, the French Institute for Culture and Education-France Science) on the West Coast district, alongside Bulent I., Virginie Molle et Emmanuelle Pauliac-Vaujour. This campaign allowed us to: 👉 Mobilize our partner network on a new ambitious project led by Mohamed Bouabdallah and Florence Botello; 👉 Further integrate incomparable colleges of liberal arts into our ecosystem; 👉 Witness firsthand students’ enthusiasm not only for studying in France, but also for the French social model; 👉 Vivify our exchange with French Idex and Grandes Écoles. A huge congratulations to all recipients, and especially to those from the Western District: 🎓Jaxon Gonzales (Stanford University) → Master in International Business at HEC Paris 🎓 Matthieu Huy (UC Santa Barbara) → Master in Public Policies and Development at Toulouse School of Economics 🎓 Hunter Jung (University of Washington) → Master in Cognitive Science at Université Paris Cité & Sorbonne Université 🎓 Enri Lala (UC Santa Barbara) → Master in International Relations at Université de Strasbourg 🎓 Garry Piepenbrock (Stanford University) → Master in Analysis and Policy Economics at École normale supérieure - Université PSL 🎓 Sophia Young (University of California, Berkeley) → Master in Artificial Intelligence and Society at PR[AI]RIE-PSAI Thanks to Richard Watts, I had the opportunity to meet with Hunter a couple of weeks ago, and I can’t resist to share here the photo we took in Seattle and how impressed I am by her commitment and project to work with Médecins Sans Frontières!
