Speaker, Author, Professor, Thought Partner on Human Capability (talent, leadership, organization, HR)

After eight days with 27 remarkable HR thought leaders and an extraordinary cohort of next-generation HR professionals at the inaugural Global HR Leadership Experience (GHRLE), my colleagues Dick Beatty, Patrick Wright, Cori Jones, and I are leaving with very high confidence in the future of HR. Why such optimism when so many question HR's relevance? Three observations stand out. First, HR is evolving from tools and practices to demonstrable stakeholder value with clear impact on business results, customer share, and investor confidence. Second, today's HR thought leaders see their work as a calling, not just a job, with genuine passion for developing the next generation. Third, and most inspiring, the next-generation HR leaders we met possess exceptional ambition, ability, agility, and achievement orientation that will keep the field fresh and innovative. When we engage with these emerging leaders, we see them listen respectfully to current insights while recognizing they will each create their own journey and story. They will continually reinvent the HR profession, which gives us remarkable confidence that the best is yet ahead. We'd love to hear your perspective. What gives you confidence or concern about HR's future? What innovations do you see emerging that will shape how HR creates stakeholder value? Read our full insights from GHRLE and join the conversation. And, join us in the next offering!!
