As a fellow Surf Shop kid (me at Rip Curl San Clemente and Logan at Newport Beach's Frog House), we both ran off to join the circus, in our own words, that is the surfing world. Logan went from Volcom-sponsored Shop Grom to Southern California point-of-contact for the Irons brothers and other Hawaii transplants to SMP team manager. He bagged the inaugural swell at the Superbank for his culture-shifting Snapt 1 and 2 films, co-developed the RVCA surf program with Pat Tenore and ConanbHayes in the brand's genesis era, became the manager for Mickey Avalon, became an opiate addict, struggled to rehabilitate himself and ultimately found his current sobriety through a reconnection to surfing and the resurrection of the Snapt film franchise. Throughout it all, he's become a husband, a father and still manages to rip River Jetties on a regular basis.The man has lived a life and is incredibly candid about his experiences.
