I’m pleased to share a slightly unconventional addition to our operational efficiency efforts at our Fradley DC, UK. To help deter roosting birds from leaving guano on my solar panels, I have recently “employed” the services of two highly experienced specialists in aerial deterrence — a pair of owls (the non-living, plastic kind, but very committed to their roles nonetheless). The interview process was remarkably straightforward. We quickly aligned on responsibilities, working hours, and remuneration (they accepted a permanent position with no ongoing salary requirements). Early signs are promising, and the solar panels are already enjoying a cleaner, more productive work environment. Sometimes innovative solutions come from unexpected places — or in this case, from the world of avian management. #solar Newell Brands
