I’m excited to share that I’ve officially joined Sperry Rail Inc. as the new Vice President of Engineering. Sperry has a long-standing legacy as the global leader in rail flaw detection, and I’m proud to be part of a company that plays such a critical role in keeping the world’s railways safe and reliable. I’m especially looking forward to working alongside CEO Bob Karschnia, VP of Technology Simon Broomhead, and an incredibly talented group of leaders and engineers across our US and UK operations. In this role, I look forward to applying the skills and practices I’ve developed over 12+ years of engineering leadership—driving high-performing teams, scaling organizations, and improving operational performance. My focus at Sperry will be on strengthening our engineering systems and processes to deliver better technical outcomes, reduce field issues, and enhance overall product performance. We'll also work across functions and geographies to accelerate innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement. I believe great engineering organizations are defined not just by what they build, but how they build it—through collaboration, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning. I’m energized by the opportunity to help shape Sperry’s next chapter, and to contribute to a mission that truly impacts the safety and reliability of global rail systems. A sincere thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey. I’m grateful for the past experiences that brought me here, and excited for what’s ahead.
