We’re excited to kick off our mini-documentary series called Collective Impact with Duke Energy as our first featured company. Collective Impact, a spin-off from our award-winning ‘New Heroes of Sustainable Business’ series, zooms in on companies with sustainability woven deep into their DNA. It shows how C-Suite leaders align around a shared vision, drive integrated strategies, and deliver results that have a positive impact on people, the planet and profitability. Duke Energy Corporation has been a sustainability leader for decades, named to the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for North America for 19 consecutive years. On the path to net zero by 2050, the company has already retired over 55 coal units and is rapidly scaling its renewable energy portfolio. We visited the team at their headquarters and some of their facilities in North Carolina.
