Databricks Releases General AI Agents for Businesses. Belle L. of The Wall Street Journal reports, that Databricks “is pushing further into AI applications for general work with Genie One, an agentic co-worker that helps business teams across finance, marketing, and sales get answers and make decisions from their corporate data.” Powering it is Genie Ontology, a real-time graph of an organization's data, documents, apps, and people. Databricks Co-founder and CEO Ali Ghodsi tells the Wall Street Journal, that context layer is the "secret sauce" — driving more accurate, faster responses at lower token cost.
