OpenTelemetry is awesome, but it's the kind of project that's never "done". At Dash0, we've been contributing in various ways to OpenTelemetry, from leading initiatives like the OpenTelemetry Injector and the System Packages to community management with Julia Furst Morgado. Today, we're taking that commitment a few steps further. We're excited to welcome Carlos Alberto Cortez, Diego Hurtado, and Matthew Wear, who'll be working on key pieces of OpenTelemetry like the specifications, the Collector, and the language SDKs. All three have given a great deal to OTel over the years, but their day jobs had left less and less room for the community work they cared about most. Now their day job *is* OpenTelemetry: they're back to contributing virtually full-time. Welcome to the team. 👋 We're looking forward to the impact they'll have on OpenTelemetry! #OpenTelemetry #OpenSource
