This new language allows others who can't visualise the script in its final form to see it presented clearly. Imagine a room filled with 100 storyboard artists, each armed with nothing but their imagination and a pen. Now, give them the same script to work from. What you get are 100 distinct, extraordinary visions, each with its own tone and style. It’s a testament to the boundless creativity of the human mind and the expansive nature of visual storytelling. However, this diversity of interpretation also introduces an element of unpredictability. With so many possible directions, the true essence of the film could become obscured by the myriad of artistic pathways. That’s why it’s crucial for the Producer and Director to have a clear, strong vision of the film’s presentation before the first line is drawn. This vision sets the boundaries within which the storyboard artists’ creativity can flourish.
