HEAD OF GROUP CATEGORY @ALLEGRO MARKETPLACE (CONSUMER ELECTRONICS, WHITE & BROWN GOODS, PHOTO, DRONES)

Whenever I need to buy something I know absolutely nothing about, let’s say a child car seat or a home router, I always feel a bit stressed.   I worry that the salesperson will push the most expensive model, while I won’t even understand half of the technical terms they use.   And honestly, the most frustrating part is that feeling of helplessness when, after hours of reading forums, you somehow feel even more confused than when you started. 🫣   That’s why I’ve really come to appreciate having AI in my phone. It feels a bit like having an expert friend sitting next to me, someone who can explain complicated things in simple, human language. I paste in the specs and ask: “What does this abbreviation actually mean, and do I really need this feature?”   It’s amazing how technology can level the playing field for buyers. The customer is no longer a helpless beginner, relying only on ads and sales promises. They now have a tool in their pocket that can do a lot of the heavy lifting for them.   Trust is slowly shifting from catchy marketing claims to actual substance. And honestly, I really like this direction. 😉   Has AI ever saved you from a bad purchase? Or maybe the opposite, has it recommended something that turned out to be surprisingly good?
