A NEW BATTERY PARTNERSHIP IS CHARGING 🔋   We’re happy to share that Cero Generation, alongside their UK development partner Enso Energy, has selected DC to optimise a new battery energy storage system (BESS) in the UK.   The battery, named Lower Larks, will have a capacity of 140 MWh, which means it can store enough energy to cover the daily power consumption of approx. 15,000 British households.   DC will help optimise Lower Larks BESS through a seven-year tolling agreement, meaning we cover the full market exposure of the battery.   “We’re proud that Cero Generation has chosen Danske Commodities to optimise Lower Larks,” says our Head of Origination & New Markets Jesper Tronborg and continues:   “With more than 15 years of experience from British power markets, we’ll apply our trading expertise to help provide much needed flexibility to intermittent power generation.”   Lower Larks BESS is expected to become operational in Q2 2027.
