One of my favorite parts of producing an event happens long before the gates open. It's the brainstorming. Over the years, some of my favorite ideas have started as nothing more than a bad pun on a whiteboard. A few even made it into the Chicago Thanksgiving Parade—like the "Clean Shot" from our overhead jib camera, presented by CD One Price Cleaners, or the "Poo Crew" with our friends at Dude Wipes. (We were the #2 Thanksgiving Parade in the nation, now.) Those little details are fun to create because they help turn a sponsorship into part of the experience instead of just another logo. Now it's time to put a new *twist* on our next adventure: La Grange Oktoberfest. 🥨 The brainstorming has officially begun. So... who's got the best pretzel pun?
