HAPPENING TODAY! You can still register for the webinar: 📆 16 April, 2pm-3.30pm (CET) 🔗https://brnw.ch/21x0YrC DRC releases the sixth edition of the Global Displacement Forecast, our annual, forward‑looking analysis of how forced displacement is likely to evolve across some of the world’s most fragile and crisis‑affected contexts. The Report will focus on the structural pressures that are set to shape future displacement, from conflict to institutional fragility, from climate shocks to economic stress, and declining international support. By identifying these patterns early, we can enable earlier, more preventive and anticipatory action before crises deepen. Our Secretary General, Charlotte Slente, will open the event, followed by a presentation of the report’s key findings by Alexander Kjaerum, Senior Analyst at DRC and the report’s author. The programme will then continue with a panel discussion and a Q&A session Our guests: Xavier Devictor - Advisor, Fragility, Conflict and Violence Group, World Bank laurent palustran - Country Director South Sudan, Danish Refugee Council Mariam Jalabi - Co-founding member, Syrian Women’s Political Movement Renet van der Waals - Deputy Head of the Peacebuilding and Protection Division of the Department of Peace, Stability and Humanitarian Affairs at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs
