1 year at Elia… and what a year it has been 🤩 Feeling like being part of the real thing, in the cockpit where it all happens. And it happened today. I had the tremendous privilege of being there, in Hamburg, where declarations were signed, where offshore was at the center, where planning, cost sharing and financing were jointly discussed at the occasion of the publication of Offshore TSO Collaboration’s (OTC) Expert Paper IV (if you're interested: https://lnkd.in/eVKnwdWu), promoting a regional sea-basin approach, ensuring ambitions become reality. And I was there! After a year of brainstorming on how to crack the financing puzzle, on publishing our ideas in an infamous White Paper (if you want to read some more: https://lnkd.in/edW8zWfp), on discussing with loads of stakeholders, on discovering synergies and sharing insights, whilst presenting, correcting, assisting, learning, growing. What fun is this to do this within such a forward-looking company filled with bright minds and bold ambitions. What fun is this to do this under the umbrella of the OTC, showcasing that the future is built today! Let’s keep surfing these waves and catching the right wind to transform our North Sea into a power plant built on strategic partnerships that can deliver clever security and clean energy at competitive prices. Because if one thing is clear, it is that it is only through intense and true cooperation that we can advance…and what nicer way to advance than to invite your partners and dance 💃 (running marathons left out of the equation for a moment 😉).
