Shaping Supply Chains & Innovating Delivery Channels to Expand Access to Health Products

Root to Rise turns one today. A year ago I shared that I'd been fired three times in about a month. (Still a personal record. Not sure I'm proud of it.) I said the pivot wasn't optional. Just because I had to leave the job didn't mean I had to leave the work. Turns out, that was right. This year I learned more than I expected. Not just supply chain. Accounting. State employment law. Benefits administration. Payroll across multiple continents. The finer points of foreign exchange. (Still a work in progress. Don't ask.) None of it solo. Grateful for everyone who made this year possible. What I didn't see coming: I have not once dreaded a conversation. Not one. Anyone who has spent time in a large organization knows exactly what I mean. Here's what the year confirmed. There is genuine excellence in global health. People doing extraordinary work every day, with less support than they deserve. Root to Rise exists to help change that. To make sure the work reaches the people it is meant to serve. To everyone who believed in this before we'd earned the right to ask: thank you. You know who you are.
