Turning public-sector complexity into predictable value creation. CSM, CPO, LAP, LAP Trainer, PMP

Thanks for another excellent post Colin Deacon πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦! I'd add that the river ahead is unknown. There will be twists and turns and we won't know where the next rapids will be, or even it it might be a waterfall. When we run whitewater, we always do it in increments. Run a portion, look for the eddy pool - so we can take moment, in-flight, to re-assess our route and make adjustments, and run another portion. Along this theme, we really need to ensure that policy is iterative as well - pivoting incrementally based on the evidence of incremental steps, and taking the time to find the eddy pools, learn, build capabilities and adjust in order to achieve the shared intended outcome. Therefore, as we move forward with incremental delivery - I hope that the policy person(s) is/are at the table on the cross-functional team(s) and not locked away in a silo!
