En cette Fête nationale, je célèbre un Québec qui puise sa force dans sa langue, sa culture et sa démocratie. Un Québec attaché à la liberté, à la dignité et à la possibilité, pour chacune et chacun, de grandir, de s’accomplir et de contribuer pleinement à la société. C’est ce Québec que je suis fière de représenter à Ottawa. Au Sénat du Canada, je porte une voix profondément francophone, enracinée dans notre histoire, ouverte sur l’avenir et attentive au bien commun. Le Québec que nous avons bâti est précieux, mais jamais acquis. Il nous revient de poursuivre le travail afin de défendre notre démocratie et d’offrir à chacune et chacun la possibilité de grandir, de s’accomplir et de contribuer pleinement à notre essor économique et social.
