Recognition matters. It fuels growth, builds confidence and helps teams — and people — do their best work. This is especially true in Corporate Relations. Across communications, government relations and social impact, our work is gaining importance every day, sitting at the intersection of trust, reputation, policy and society — and powered by people who lead with purpose and collaborate in increasingly complex environments. Last week, we paused as a global Diageo CR community to recognize that extraordinary work through CR Celebrates, led by Dan Mobley. It was a moment to celebrate teams and individuals recognised for how they led and delivered — aligned to the values and behaviours that guide our culture. I’m incredibly proud that Latin America took home two of the eight categories: the Corporate Relations team in Brazil, recognized in "Passionate About Consumers and Customers", and the Corporate Relations team in Mexico, recognized in "Be Better". We were also proud to see Latin American teams and talent represented among the finalists, including projects from Colombia, Mexico and global initiatives where our region made a meaningful contribution. We were all deeply moved by the special mention made to the CCV team, particularly for the important work currently underway in Venezuela. We also left feeling recognized through the global progress achieved — successes that many of us across regions genuinely felt part of. Proof of a function that continues to grow stronger through collaboration. Proud of our people. Proud of our teams. And proud of what Corporate Relations continues to deliver for Diageo and for society.
