Turning complex B2B/B2C catalogs into guided buying experiences | Solving “Choice Overload” with AI & Data @ Zoovu

Filtering through a product catalog is like standing in IKEA's self-service warehouse. "Aisle 17, shelf 3, bin 12." You know what you want. You just can't find it. Yesterday I had the chance to represent Zoovu at the Experience Day 2026 in Stuttgart, hosted by DigitalNativeAlliance. The topic: how do we rethink Guided Selling and Product Discovery? Here's what I keep seeing across the German Mittelstand: Companies invest heavily in their product data, their PIM, their shop systems — but the buyer experience still feels like that IKEA warehouse. Filters, facets, spec sheets. The buyer has to do all the work. What if instead of asking buyers to navigate rows and shelves, we asked them a few guided questions? "What are you trying to solve?" "What matters most to you?" "What's your setup?" That's the shift from filtering to discovering. And that's what we do at Zoovu every day. Huge thanks to Cindy Susanne Wilfert and the entire Netformic team for the invitation. It was great to get fresh perspectives, make new connections, and reconnect with familiar faces.
