It was brilliant to hear discussion of co-operative and employee-owned businesses in the Senedd yesterday. Particularly encouraging to hear these models being put at the heart of the productivity agenda. Full discussion in the comments. Diolch yn fawr iawn to Sera Evans for raising this, to Mike Hedges his supplementary question on the potential for a new, ambitious target for this sector, and to Adam Price for his support for these models. Our White Paper on a Co-operative Development Hub, which would see new capacity for proactive market development for co-operative and EO models, sets out Cwmpas’ proposals for how we can make this a catalyst for inclusive economic growth and community wealth building. It’s essential we get the support infrastructure right and build on current momentum. Bethan Webber Glenn Bowen Nicola Mehegan MSc, BSc (Hons), PGCE. Rhodri Packman Paul Lewis
