When high torque meets low speed, control becomes a challenge. At MCAM, the world leading manufacturer of high-performance thermoplastics, a Belgian extrusion line could not maintain stable motor control at low speed – even with the existing drive setup. Together with automation partner ATS, Danfoss implemented iC7-Automation and resolved the issue within hours, enabling stable open-loop control without the need for encoder feedback.
