Introducing ‘Bitten’... Today, in partnership with Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, we inaugurated Denmark’s new energy-efficient AI supercomputer. The project demonstrates a new model for how AI infrastructure can be integrated into energy systems for waste heat reuse and built more energy-efficiently. Bitten is also a strong example of what cross-sector, public/private collaboration can enable when research expertise, industrial decarbonization leadership, and data center technology come together. The supercomputer is named after Bitten Clausen, a pioneer in Danish industry and the heart and soul of Danfoss for more than 80 years. The name represents innovation, efficiency, sustainability, and gender representation in tech.
