Today our president and CEO Kim Fausing is in Versailles to meet with business and government leaders to discuss the future of European industry for the Choose France Summit hosted by President Emmanuel Macron. We’re supporting France’s ambition to triple domestic heat pump production to 1 million units annually by 2027 with a €10 million investment in our Reyrieux, our France production site, where we manufacture essential components for heat pumps. This builds on €61 million we’ve already invested in the site between 2015 and 2025. Speaking from the summit, Kim Fausing highlighted: “The investment in Reyrieux, in line with our LEAP 2030 strategy, supports the growing demand we see for electrification and heat pump solutions. At the same time, investment in factories like Reyrieux strengthens our global footprint, brings us closer to our customers, and increases service levels, competitiveness, and resilience.” Our production facility in Reyrieux will be upgraded with on-site renewable power generation, enhanced energy efficiency measures, and modernized workspaces that strengthen both sustainability performance and workplace attractiveness. These upgrades contribute to our commitment to decarbonize our own operations by 2030. Read more here: https://bit.ly/4uHLnn4 #CompetitiveDecarbonization #HeatPumps #Electrification
