Liliane (Lily) Kabarame, BSN, RN, an oncology nurse navigator in the Lank Center for Genitourinary Oncology, received an Excellence in Practice award from the New England Regional Black Nurses Association (NERBNA) at its annual awards ceremony in Cambridge, Massachusetts. “I am honored to be recognized by NERBNA, which has created space for connection, growth and strengthening the nursing community,” Kabarame said. The award recognizes nurses whose clinical expertise, leadership and commitment to patient-centered care set a high standard for practice. Based in Roxbury, Massachusetts, NERBNA works to support and advance Black nurses through education, advocacy, professional development and scholarships, while promoting equitable health care for underserved communities. Please join us in congratulating her on this recognition.
