Dear all, As we head into the summer holidays and a season of new beginnings, I want to share that I will be leaving KIRKBI A/S. During my seven truly rewarding years at KIRKBI, I’ve worked across different corners of the world with direct equity investments, led several key strategic investments, and most recently headed the Circular Plastics Investment team. It is a cause that is as important and professionally exciting as all my board responsibilities throughout the years have been rewording and challenging. I am leaving KIRKBI Climate as the company embarks on a new chapter under a recently appointed CEO who is building his own team. I wish the team every success moving forward. I will miss being close to the Circular Plastics Investments platform that we have built from the ground up - advancing KIRKBI Climate’s commitment to circularity and supporting the LEGO Group’s bold sustainability journey, including the sustainable green brick. I will miss all the fun we have had advancing several of KIRKBI’s key partnerships and strategic investments, including Merlin Entertainments, LEGOLAND® Shanghai 上海乐高乐园度假区, and Epic Games. I will miss my brilliant, passionate, and inspiring colleagues, co-investors, management teams, GPs, LPs, and valued partners. A heartfelt thank you to Thomas Schleicher, Soren Thorup Sorensen, Jørgen Vig Knudstorp, Sidsel Marie Kristensen, Kasper Trebbien, Michael Skou, the entire Circular Plastics Investments team - and all the other amazing colleagues and partners I’ve had the pleasure to work with throughout the seven years.
