As I reflect on 2025 and all that the year has held, I found myself casting my mind back to about four years ago—when I was inducted into the Medical Laboratory Science profession. At that time, I didn’t have a clear picture of what I wanted to do. What I had, however, was an honest sense of what I didn’t want and that turned out to be a good enough place to start. I graduated with distinction as a co-best graduating student in my department, majoring in Chemical Pathology. During that same period, I enrolled in business school, driven by curiosity and a desire to understand leadership and value creation beyond science. By God’s grace, I emerged as valedictorian. The years since have been full—building FAS Diagnostics, exploring healthcare beyond the traditional lab, working across supply chain and innovation, taking on leadership roles, making and losing money, forming meaningful friendships, and letting go of some along the way. Through it all, I’m deeply grateful to God for the journey, the lessons, and the growth. I’m still discovering, still learning, and looking forward with faith and clarity to an amazing 2026.
