Alicia Wilson is one of the most important American voices in #highereducation and #medicine. Alicia leads economic development over both the Johns Hopkins Medical System and Johns Hopkins University. She travels the globe and brings Hopkins to the world. Alicia is bold on recruiting and contracting with local #Baltimore talent. Hopkins was best prepared for the pandemic because of the local expertise utilized to build America’s most famous institution. Outside of the work environment, she pressed her longtime, talented high school colleague and fellow Baltimore City public schools alum to run for Mayor of Baltimore. Her recruit persevered through challenging fundraising, a pandemic, and two existing/former Mayors in the race to win the very important Democratic nomination. Alicia Wilson represents the encouragement we all need - everyday - to find local, talented people around us and lift them up.
