We have just published a new article titled “In vitro study of the effect of an abdominal aortic aneurysm on pulse wave velocity measurement using 4F-Flow MRI” in the Special Issue “Recent Advances in Cardiovascular Flows, 2nd Edition” of Fluids (https://lnkd.in/daiegZS7). Using our own pulsatile phantom that is compatible with 4D-Flow MRI and two flexible aortic models, we demonstrated the impact of wave reflections produced by an abdominal aortic aneurysm on the relationship between pulse wave velocity and arterial elasticity. Congratulations to my colleagues at the Universidad Favaloro and three other national universities: the Universidad Nacional de San Martín, the Universidad Nacional General Sarmiento, and the Universidad Nacional de Comahue. 👏 Mariano Ezequiel Casciaro Eduardo Esteban Rodríguez Alejandro Valda Sebastián Graf Caride Ezequiel López Universidad Favaloro CONICET
