𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗦𝗔𝗥 𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝘆 𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗲𝘁 We're proud to mark a significant milestone in our longstanding relationship with the Brazilian Navy. Following inauguration ceremonies in Rio de Janeiro on 27 April and Vitória on 18 May, two SAR 1605 FRP vessels, LSAR 01 and LSAR 02 are now officially in service. Built at Damen Shipyards Antalya in Türkiye, these composite vessels were tailored to the navy's specific operational needs, including self-righting capabilities, thermal cameras for man-overboard detection, speeds exceeding 25 knots, and an offshore range of up to 80 nautical miles. Our relationship with the Brazilian Navy spans more than two decades from the iconic Sail Training Vessel Cisne Branco to a series of tugs, and now these two SAR vessels.
