I'm super excited to share that back in January I accepted an offer to join Barclays this summer as a Retail Banking Intern. I am so grateful for the opportunity and it feels really exciting to finally be able to say I will be starting soon and getting stuck in with work and meeting the team. Over the coming summer, I'll be learning more about the industry, where I am particularly looking forward to putting my knowledge from my economics modules into use and gaining more insight into the role that banking plays in the UK from a corporate setting instead of behind a university desk! A big thank you to the Barclays team for making the onboarding process smooth and Owen Walls for answering all of my questions.
