We are expanding our global defence business: with the launch of our new global brand “Daimler Truck Defence”, we're bringing together our global defence activities under one unified identity and aligning the business for sustained international growth. 🌐📈 ➡️ Going forward, our portfolio will not only include vehicles from Mercedes-Benz Trucks but will also be progressively expanded to incorporate solutions from other Daimler Truck brands. ➡️ To support this growth strategy, we will invest a mid-three-digit million-euro amount over the coming years to expand our engineering, manufacturing, sales and service capabilities. The objective is to provide armed forces worldwide with an even broader range of military mobility and logistics solutions. ➡️ Approximately 1,000 employees are currently engaged in our defence business.
