๐—–๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐—ฝ๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐˜๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ถ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜€, ๐˜€๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ฝ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ณ๐˜‚๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐—ฒ For more than 20 years, DACHSER and the childrenโ€™s rights organization Terre des hommes have been working together to promote development and equal opportunities in the Global South. To mark this anniversary, around 600 representatives from business, politics and civil society came together on site and via livestream at the new DACHSER Network Campus in Kempten to discuss a central question of our time: What responsibility do companies have in a globalized world? At the invitation of Bernhard Simon, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and Burkhard Eling, CEO of DACHSER, the speakers included Dr. Gerd Mรผller (UNIDO), Dr. Wolfgang Stefinger (German Bundestag) and Joshua Hofert (Terre des Hommes). They discussed and shared perspectives on development aid, corporate responsibility and sustainable development. Bernhard Simon, Chairman of the Supervisory Board at DACHSER, emphasized: โ€œGlobalization is the driving force of our business โ€“ and it comes with responsibility for peopleโ€™s living conditions worldwide.โ€ Itยดs a fact: Global supply chains shape our daily lives and form the foundation of our economic activities. At the same time, they highlight the close connection between economic success and social responsibility - especially in logistics. This idea was at the heart of the anniversary event.
