🎨 ARTIST FEATURE Alina Akhme (Alina Aidarovna Akhmetzyanova) Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan, Russia Member of the Union of Russian Artists The international exhibition project "Space of Meaning" brings together artists whose works invite viewers into a dialogue through emotion, symbolism, and personal artistic language. Among the participants is Alina Akhme — a painter and designer from Kazan whose expressive style combines vibrant color, texture, and musical rhythm. Her artistic practice explores the emotional power of visual language, transforming sound, movement, and feeling into painterly form. Alina is a member of the Union of Russian Artists, a laureate of numerous national and international competitions, and an active participant in exhibition projects both in Russia and abroad. Her works were included in the Union of Russian Artists Catalogue (2025) and presented at the CICPE International Exhibition in China. Today, her paintings are held in private collections across Serbia, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, and Belarus. She also collaborates with the Okno Gallery and Art Most Gallery. As part of the project, the following work is presented: "When You Play Color" From the series "We Are from Jazz" 2025 Oil, textured paste on linen/cotton canvas 80 × 70 cm This painting is an exploration of jazz as a visual phenomenon. Rather than illustrating music literally, the artist transforms rhythm, improvisation, and emotion into color and texture. The anonymous Black maestro symbolizes the universal language of jazz, while the saxophone becomes a bridge between sound and painting. Bold yellow, deep burgundy, mysterious black, and luminous white create an emotional composition where color replaces melody. The textured surface enhances the tactile quality of the work, allowing viewers not only to see the music, but almost to feel it. As the curator of the project, I especially value artists who confidently cross the boundaries between different forms of art. Alina Akhme demonstrates that painting can speak the language of music, rhythm, and emotion, creating an experience that reaches beyond the visible image. It is precisely this openness to artistic dialogue and experimentation that enriches the international space of our exhibition. #spaceofmeaning #artistfeature #internationalart #contemporarypainting #jazzart #oilpainting #unionofrussianartists #artproject #contemporaryart #art_mandala_belykh
