MITRE ATT&CK just changed the rules. With version 18.0, traditional Detections (Data Sources) have been retired and replaced by Detection Strategies and Analytics. This shift, effective October 28, 2025, marks a major evolution in how adversary behaviors are mapped and understood. Instead of static detections, teams now gain structured and adaptive insights that enhance visibility and strengthen cross-tactic correlations, especially across Execution and Persistence, where telemetry overlap often clouds precision.
